Aly Ndom earns CPL Team of the Week honours in his first start back from injury

The Gatorade Team of the Week for the fourth week of Canadian Premier League action in 2025, brought to you by Kristian Jack and Oliver Platt.

Goalkeeper

Nathan Ingham (Atlético Ottawa)

Ingham came up big on a few occasions during Atlético Ottawa’s 3-1 win over Cavalry FC on Saturday. The Atleti goalkeeper made four stops, including a lovely kick save on Sergio Camargo.

Defenders

Adam Pearlman (Halifax Wanderers)

Pearlman delivered his best performance yet for the Halifax Wanderers against Valour on Friday. Outstanding defensively, he won three of four aerial duels, two tackles and made six clearances.

Thomas Meilleur-Giguère (Halifax Wanderers)

TMG was immense in Halifax, keeping their first clean sheet of the season. He made seven clearances, won five of seven duels and completed a solid 53 of 56 passes.

Aly Ndom (Pacific FC)

In his first start of the season, Ndom scored the equalizer in the Salish Sea Derby on a lovely header. The Pacific central defender led the match with 93 touches, won four of six duels and had four shot attempts.

Midfielders

Max Ferrari (York United)

The York right-back put in an outstanding 905 Derby performance at both ends of the pitch on Sunday. In attack, he had three shots and completed 24 of 26 passes. He also won four of five duels, and three fouls.

Juan Castro (Atlético Ottawa)

The silky Atleti midfielder has quickly become central to the way they play. On Saturday in Calgary, he dominated the centre of the park, completing 62 of 67 passes, winning six of eight duels and creating three chances.

Alessandro Hojabrpour (Forge FC)

The Forge midfielder was solid as you like in the midfield against York. His ball over the top created the opening goal, one of ten passes he played in the final third — completing all of them. He also won six of his seven duels and made three tackles.

Riley Ferrazzo (York United)

For the second consecutive week, Ferrazzo found the back of the net, this time through a stunning strike in the 14th minute against Forge.

Forwards

Vitor Dias (Halifax Wanderers)

Dias scored the winner off the bench for the Halifax Wanderers in the 90th minute in a 1-0 victory over Valour FC on Friday.

Ballou Tabla (Atlético Ottawa)

The Atleti attacker scored the match winner in Calgary with a well-taken strike in the 66th minute. He was dangerous throughout the match with two shots, five touches in the box and three chances created.

Julian Altobelli (York United)

The York attacker added his league-leading fourth goal of the season on Sunday from the penalty spot, while also picking up an assist in a 2-2 draw with Forge. He also had seven shot attempts.
